CARROT ORANGE APPLE GINGER JUICE | VEGAN RECIPE | MARCH MENU


WIKI NOTE: The word "juice" comes from Old French in about 1300; it developed from the Old French words "jus, juis, jouis", which mean "liquid obtained by boiling herbs".The use of the word "juice" to mean "the watery part of fruits or vegetables" was first recorded in the early 14th century.
Juice is a drink made from the extraction or pressing of the natural liquid contained in fruit and vegetables. The largest fruit juice consumers are New Zealand (nearly a cup, or 8 ounces, each day) and Colombia (more than three-quarters of a cup each day).

CARROT ORANGE APPLE GINGER JUICE

YOU WILL NEED: 
2 small carrots or 1 large carrot
1 orange
1 apple   
A little piece of ginger (optional)
A dash of agave nectar, maple syrup or molasses (optional) 
NOTE: The recipe is for one glass. Double the amount if you want more than one glass.

LET´S COOK!

1. Peel the carrots, the orange and the apple. Cut the fruit into small pieces, and carefully take out the seeds. Put it into the blender measuring cup. Mix it well with the blender.
2. Strain it, If it is necessary. Sometimes it can have too much pulp.
3. Serve in a tall glass with straw. Put a couple of ice cubes in each glass (optional).
